Why We Run Our Creative Sessions in English – and Why That’s a Beautiful Thing 🌍

At the Eco Events Hub in Chalkida, we do things a little differently—and proudly so. One of the most unique things about our workshops and weekly sessions is that they are all conducted in English.

Why English?

We’re based in beautiful Chalkida, Greece, a city rich with local character, but also with a growing international presence. Whether you're a local looking to improve your English, an expat craving connection, or a digital nomad passing through, the Eco Events Hub aims to be a creative home for all. Running sessions in English allows us to:

For Greek Participants: Casual, Creative, and Confidence-Boosting

If you’re Greek and feeling hesitant about your English, we get it. But here’s the thing: our sessions aren’t formal classes. There are no exams, no red pens—just paint, clay, fabric, thread, and imagination.

For adults, it’s a fun and pressure-free way to practice English in a real-life context. You’ll pick up new words and expressions without even trying, simply by being part of the group.

And for kids? It’s a fantastic opportunity to reinforce what they learn in school—only now, it’s through art, laughter, and play. English becomes something exciting and expressive, not stressful or intimidating.
