Paper Donations
Give paper a second life.
Why Paper?
Paper is one of the most thrown-away materials in everyday life.
Globally, millions of tonnes of paper are discarded every year, much of it still usable. Books are pulped, maps are outdated, magazines are read once, calendars expire overnight.
But paper doesn’t stop being useful just because its original purpose ends.
At the Eco Events Hub, we see paper not as waste but as raw creative material.

Condition Guidelines
To keep materials usable:
-
Clean and dry
-
Light wear is welcome
-
Age, yellowing, texture = character
Please avoid mould, strong odours, or heavy water damage.
Why We’re Doing This
We’re building a shared paper resource so that:
-
Less usable material ends up in landfill
-
More creativity happens without buying new supplies
-
Objects already in circulation get used again
Reusing paper saves:
-
Trees
-
Water
-
Energy
-
And unnecessary consumption
But just as importantly, it builds a culture of sharing instead of binning.
Why Contribute?
When you donate paper, you’re not just decluttering.
You’re:
-
Supporting workshops and courses
-
Making creativity more accessible
-
Taking part in a small but meaningful sustainability loop
One old book can support dozens of projects.
One stack of magazines can spark hundreds of ideas.
That’s impact, quietly done.
Unsure? Bring It Anyway.
If you’re hesitating and thinking
“I don’t know if this is useful…”
That usually means it is.
We’d rather look and decide together than see it thrown away.
How to Donate
Bring paper donations to the Hub during opening hours (please message before to check we're there!)
