An August of Creativity: 31 Days of Drawing & Journaling Prompts

At The Eco Events Hub, August is a time to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect — with yourself, your surroundings, and your creativity. While our studio takes a summer pause, before our full program begins in September, we’re inviting you to join us (from anywhere!) for “An August of Creativity” — a gentle, supportive challenge designed to spark intention, expression, and joy.

No matter your experience, medium, age or location — this is for you. Whether you’re sketching with a pencil, collaging with scraps, or journaling in the notes app on your phone, you are welcome here.

🖌️ What Is It?

“An August of Creativity” is a 31-day creative challenge to help you:

  • Slow down and notice more

  • Make space for yourself in small, meaningful ways

  • Explore your creativity — with zero pressure

  • Connect with a community doing the same

Each day, we’ll share:

🖼 A drawing prompt — inviting you to respond with any visual medium

📝 A journaling prompt — to reflect, remember, imagine, or simply notice

Think of it as a gentle nudge — and a shared rhythm we’re creating together.

🌿 Who Is It For?

This challenge is for everyone. Whether you’re a total beginner, a lapsed creative, a seasoned artist, or someone just looking to be more intentional with your time — this is for you.

No rules. No perfection. Just the act of showing up.

🌻 How It Works

  1. Follow the daily prompts — we’ll be sharing them daily on our socials (https://linktr.ee/ecoeventshub) and weekly on the blog, so you can catch up or go at your own pace

  2. Respond however you like — pencil, pen, collage, digital, messy, minimal

  3. Share if you feel like it — tag us or us so we can share and encourage each other

  4. Let the prompt be a doorway — not a task, but a moment to tune in, interpret it how you wish

Whether you do one prompt or all 31, the goal isn’t completion — it’s connection.

💬 Why We’re Doing This

Creative practice isn’t about being “good at art.” It’s about being present. And when we do it together — even from different places and in different ways — it becomes something bigger than us.

Let these prompts be your anchor, your window, your little spark each day.

📣 Let’s Make August a Creative One

Tag us on our socials https://linktr.ee/ecoeventshub to share your pages, scribbles, and reflections. We’ll be reposting and cheering you on all month long.
